Nobivak - vaccines for dogs against adenoviral hepatitis, canine distemper, rabies, parvovirus enteritis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, bordetellosis.

Description and composition of the nobivac rabies vaccine

Nobivac vaccines are produced by the Dutch company Intervet International BV

They are a series of drugs designed to vaccinate animals against a number of viral diseases.

The composition includes inactivated (weakened) viruses. Each drug contains specific types of virus against which it is intended.

Once in the body, they cause a response from the immune system in the form of the formation of stable immunity to these diseases.

Nobivac vaccines come in single and multi-component types. They combine well with each other, which simplifies the vaccination of animals against many diseases at the same time.

Analogs

Discussing analogues of these vaccines is a rather stupid idea, since the list of drugs can stretch for a whole book. Let us only note that vaccines that are similar in protective properties and no worse in quality are also made by domestic manufacturers:

  • Vetprom.
  • Biovet.
  • NPP "Moszoovetsnab"

In particular, they produce excellent anti-rabies (rabies) vaccines, leptospirosis vaccinations, etc.

Types of vaccine

Several types of vaccines are produced under the trade name nobivac:

Correct storage conditions

Proper storage of vaccines ensures their safety and effectiveness. Almost all Nobivak vaccines are available in two bottles:

  • Dry powder – vaccine.
  • The liquid is a solvent.

If the packaging is unopened, the shelf life is as follows:

  • Vaccine – 24 months.
  • Solvent – 60 months.

While the vaccine is being stored or transported, it should be protected from direct sunlight and overheating. Permissible storage temperature range:

  • Powder: 2–8 degrees.
  • Solvent: 2–25 degrees.

Important! After opening, subject to temperature conditions, the vaccine is stored for up to 24 hours, after dissolving the powder for up to 4 hours.

Indications for use and mechanism of action

Nobivac vaccines are indicated for vaccinating dogs against leptospirosis, parvovirus enteritis, rabies, infectious hepatitis, canine distemper, parainfluenza, and bordetellosis.

The vaccine consists of highly weakened viral agents.

After they enter the body, the immune system begins to actively produce antibodies. In the event that an animal becomes infected with the viruses against which it was vaccinated, the antibodies produced after vaccination quickly destroy the infection.

Instructions for use for dogs

Nobivac Lepto, nobivac PuppyDP, nobivac DHPPi, nobivac RL, nobivac L4, nobivac DHP are administered subcutaneously (at the withers). Nobivac Rabies - intramuscularly (into the thigh). Nobivak KS - intranasal (drop into the nose).

Animals should be vaccinated strictly according to schedule. Vaccination can only be carried out on healthy dogs. It is possible to vaccinate pregnant pets and puppies at an early age.

It is more advisable to entrust the administration of the vaccine to a specialist

Can be used at home. When used independently, you must follow the instructions for the drug. If the composition is in liquid form, you need to take the required amount of the product and inject the dog. If nobivac is in powder form, dilute it to a homogeneous consistency with the included solvent and also inject your pet. It is very important to mix the product thoroughly before administration.

The injection site must be treated with an antiseptic (miramistin or chlorhexidine) before and after the manipulation.

Mixing several vaccines in one syringe is strictly prohibited.

If a dog needs to receive two vaccinations at the same time, they must be injected with different syringes in different places on the body.

If your pet has developed an allergy to a previous vaccination, an antihistamine should be given 1.5 hours before vaccination.

General information

Nobivac Tricat Trio is presented as a lyophilisate from which the solution is prepared, as well as an injection liquid (Nobivac Diluent). The vaccine looks like a homogeneous fine pink powder, and Nobivac Diulent is transparent. The lyophilisate quickly dissolves in a special liquid.

Nobivak Triket Trio is packaged in glass bottles with 1 vaccination dose (0.5 cm³ - before freeze-drying). The solvent is in the same containers as the vaccine, but its volume is 1 ml. Each bottle is hermetically sealed with a rubber stopper, which is additionally reinforced with a metal cap. The containers are in plastic or cardboard boxes of 5 or 25 pieces along with instructions for use.

Nobivak for cats is used to prevent the following diseases in cats:

  • herpes viral rhinotracheitis (damage to the eyes and respiratory organs);
  • calcivirosis (fever, conjunctivitis, the appearance of ulcers on the mucous membranes of the mouth and nose and lameness);
  • feline distemper or panleukpenia (damage to the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory organs, heart, intoxication and dehydration).

The vaccine also helps reduce the symptoms of the first two diseases.

The vaccine must be used within 33 months after manufacture, and the solvent must be used for 5 years. After this period, the components of the medication must be disposed of. The prepared solution (after dilution) must be administered to the cat within 30 minutes.

The optimal temperature for storage and transportation of Nobivak Tricat Trio is from +2°C to +8°C. If the solvent is stored separately, the temperature should be in the range from +2°C to +25°C.

Important! If there are no labels on the bottles, the integrity of the container is damaged and the color or consistency of the contents has changed, then the vaccine is disinfected. To do this, it is boiled for 20 minutes and then disposed of.

Biological properties of Nobivak TricatTrio
