I will report on 2 months of feeding Monge - the sensations are ambivalent. The toilet smells less, the price is good, they eat with gusto, there is no brownness in the smoke or silver. I don't like the condition of my older cat's fur. Before that there were Gina and Bosch - with relatively infrequent washing and combing - the coat was ideal (from Bosch it only turned brown) - now the skin is dull and as if dirty. Monge feed composition

The diet for sterilized cats ensures the prevention of obesity. It has a reduced calorie content. Thanks to this, the pet eats enough kibble to be satisfied without gaining weight.

Monge for cats (sterilized) includes the following meat components:

dehydrated chicken - 26%;
fresh chicken - 10%;
hydrolyzed animal protein;
chicken fat;
dehydrated salmon;
salmon oil

To form croquettes, cereals are added to the feed:

corn gluten meal;
oats;
wheat.

The above ingredients are also sources of carbohydrates. They are processed in an extruder, so they are easily digested in the stomach and intestines of cats.

Additional components of the feed are:

egg powder containing complete protein;
taurine (essential amino acid) - 0.25%;

Monge Superpremium Cat is a super premium cat food from Italy. In all recipes, the first place among the ingredients is meat (poultry, rabbit or fish), except for a number of preventive and therapeutic ones, where a high proportion of proteins in the diet is not recommended. Up to 35–40% of the protein component of dry food is fresh (not dehydrated) meat, and only fresh meat is used for canned food. Seafood delicacies for cats are made from fresh seafood in Thailand. Since cats need protein food more than other companion animals, this balance of diet is optimal for them.

The food is sold in packages of 0.4, 1.5, 10 kg. A 1.5 kg package costs about 1,000 rubles, a ten-kilogram package costs 4,000-4,300 rubles. For food of this quality, this is a relatively low price.

On March 9, 2021, Rosselkhoznadzor temporarily banned the import of Italian Monge feed into Russia with the wording “... due to the identification of undeclared and unregistered GMO components in the products...”. On July 17, 2021, the temporary restriction on these feeds was lifted.
