A properly selected diet is the basis for the health and longevity of your pet. For a cat owner, the primary task is to choose food that is optimal for their pet. Recently, a large number of cat foods have been presented on the market, one of which is Brit. What kind of food is this, what kind does it come in and why is it better than the rest?
Brit is a cat food produced by a small family company in the Czech Republic.
The company's management assures that it produces food for cats only from natural ingredients, which promotes good health and a favorable course of life for pets.
Types of Brit feed
Brit is available in the form of dry food, packaged in special bags and wet food, packaged in 80 or 100 grams in bags or cans.
Brit cat food is available in two classes:
- Brit Care cat
- Brit Premium cat.
The classes differ in price and product composition. The higher class Brit Care cat contains additional vitamin supplements such as sea buckthorn oil, fish and chicken fat.
Compound
The release of feed in two different classes left its mark on their composition.
Brit Care contains no corn, soy or wheat at all. All foods are hypoallergenic. The only cereal available is rice. The protein content is on average 50%, this is natural meat as stated on the packaging.
Brit Care necessarily contains sea buckthorn and Yucca Schidigera extract; the fatty acids necessary for full development are provided by salmon and chicken fat. It is important to say about the ash content: wet does not exceed 7%.
By composition: all components must be identified and quantified. There are no artificial ingredients.
Brit Premium products differ in composition. Of course, there is less protein in this line. On average, the amount is in the range of 30-40%, and these are mainly dehydrated proteins. This is not the main difference. The food contains grains: corn, wheat, rice.
Brit Premium declares its composition absolutely transparently, something that not every premium segment manufacturer can boast of.

Brit Care cat food - reviews
Review of Brit Care food, writes Ekaterina. For a test, I bought Brit Care Chicken&Rice food for my cat; before that I fed my cat ProPlan food. The cat ate the new food less willingly, but I don’t consider this a disadvantage, but rather an advantage - this means there are fewer flavor enhancers in this food. I have a British cat, she always left her hair everywhere (during the shedding period, even daily brushing did not help), after changing the food she sheds less, but still leaves hair on the furniture.
The only thing I didn’t like about Brit dry food was the hole for pouring (it is located in the middle and is very large, which makes it difficult to pour into a small bowl without spilling), but I liked that the open bag is closed with a bolt. I took a 2 kg package, enough for about three months. My conclusion is that the food is good, economical, the cat is always cheerful and active, so I recommend it! Although I am still trying other foods in the hope of finding one that will completely prevent shedding.

Review of Brit Care cat food, writes Elena. I feed my cat dry food of this brand, it has a specific smell, the granules are medium in size and brown in color. The composition of Brit Care food for cats is very decent - only natural ingredients, meat, vegetables and grains. My cat eats the food willingly and drinks it with water (he drank less water with other foods).
Romchik looks wonderful, the coat is thick and lush, there are no health problems. I take this food because it is a little cheaper than food of the same class from other manufacturers. The only thing I don’t like is the smell of cat excrement, it is stronger than after other foods.
Review of Brit Care canned cat food, writes Angelina. Good afternoon Sometimes I pamper my Abyssinian with various tasty things, including Brit Care Chicken Horns food. I buy it in metal cans weighing 80 grams, the country of origin is Thailand. I like the good composition, there are no harmful additives. The food looks appetizing, but the smell is enough to take a spoon and a hedgehog
