My name is Mikhnevich Ksenia. And I am glad to welcome you to the website of our nursery “Fashion Peak”.
The nursery was officially registered under the WCF system in 2011, but the first cats appeared with us much earlier.
At that moment, we could not even imagine that our boundless love for this amazing breed would force us to plunge into the cat world called felinology.
Currently, Norwegian Forest cats are very popular in Europe and are represented in almost all countries of the world. They attract attention and arouse interest at any cat show.
Predictions about the great future of these cats in Europe have already come true: at European exhibitions this breed takes first place in the ranking in terms of the number of animals exhibited.
In Russia, the number of animals is small, but interest in them is growing and, we are sure that in the near future at Russian cat shows it will be possible to see the entire diversity of representatives of this unique breed, and not just single specimens, as at present.
And that is why our nursery is called “Fashion Peak”, which means “At the peak of fashion”.
To popularize the breed and increase its recognition, we take part in exhibitions that are interesting to us, not only in Novosibirsk, but also in other cities, where we communicate a lot with visitors and breeders of our and other breeds.

We are not chasing high titles, we are not chasing points in ratings. For us, the health, breed qualities, character of our animals and the kittens born to us are much more important.

The 7-8 issue of 2013 of the magazine "Cats.info" was dedicated to Norwegian Forest cats, and it is very pleasant that the cover of the magazine was graced by a graduate of our nursery Baloo On Fashion Peak, who currently lives and continues a successful exhibition career in Odessa, and in the article photographs of animals from our nursery and our breeding were used.
The 8th issue of 2013 of the magazine “My Friend CAT” was also dedicated to the Norwegians; we were able to talk about this wonderful breed, as well as the prospects for its development.

We approach breeding from a scientific point of view, refer to professional publications, and are interested in new ideas. We successfully completed felinological courses with different teachers. We attend various seminars and strive to deepen our knowledge in matters of felinology. More detailed information on this issue can be found here.
Our nursery presents males and female cats of excellent breed type from the best breed lines in Europe, the level of which has been repeatedly confirmed by victories in numerous exhibitions, shows and rings. Our animals have gorgeous wool, which we are rightfully proud of, because luxurious and specifically Norwegian wool is very rare at the moment!
All our cats live next to us, they are sociable, sociable, have a balanced character, and get along well with children and other animals. They receive high-quality super-premium food, are regularly vaccinated, and undergo deworming.
Our animals have access to equipped enclosures in the fresh air, where they can soak up the sun, as well as run and play to their heart's content. The enclosure has a warm heated room, so outdoor recreation is possible even in winter.
In our nursery only PURE BREED adult animals and kittens are presented for sale. We are ready to tell you all the information you are interested in about each of them.
We DO NOT sell animals at Bird Markets.
Kittens leave the nursery no earlier than 3 months, accustomed to the toilet and scratching post. All our kittens have documents of origin: birth certificate or pedigree, veterinary passport with notes on all vaccinations.
We do not skimp on the health of our animals; kittens are vaccinated only with imported vaccines, which ensure the formation of excellent immunity!
The kitten goes to its new home with a supply of its usual food, favorite treats, toys and a guide booklet on raising kittens.
If a kitten is purchased as a pet, it will be spayed/neutered before moving to a new home. You can read about the benefits of sterilization here.
We try to maintain relationships with all the owners of our kittens; they can all contact us at any time with any questions regarding the health and behavior of the kitten.
The geography of our graduates is constantly growing: Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Barnaul, Moscow, Ufa, Odessa... Together with you, we can choose the optimal way to deliver your baby to your city. We will prepare all the necessary documents and attributes for the kitten’s travel.

dedicated to the Norwegian Forest Cats of the Freya's lynx cattery!
Why we called the lynx nursery Freya - yes, because according to Scandinavian mythology, Norwegian forest cats drove the chariot of the goddess Freya and were her faithful companions, and they were depicted as somewhat similar to lynxes. And this is not surprising, because the Norwegian cat, or as it is also called in Scandinavia, skogkatt (from the word skogg forest, katt - cat), is an absolutely indigenous breed and perhaps even once knew how to survive in the forest. And these cats also accompanied the brave Vikings on their military and trading campaigns and voyages.
Unlike the wild lynx, the Norwegian forest cat is completely, one hundred percent, a domestic kitty, which will be a faithful friend to a person, just as according to legend, its ancient ancestors were faithful friends of the goddess Freya. After all, these are amazingly intelligent animals with a strong attachment to their owner, but at the same time completely unobtrusive. They are friendly, “Nordic” patient and completely devoid of aggression, but at the same time they are courageous, full of self-esteem, can stand up for themselves well and are always full of cheerful energy. These cats will not work as a “couch cushion”, they are sociable, they love games even in adulthood and old age, they love to run, jump, and climb trees perfectly, so they are perfect not only for adults, but also for families with children. They will also easily find contact with any pets you have in the house.
This is a cat - a dog, a cat - a companion - smart, affectionate, superbly trainable and loyal, which will be tied not to a place like all cats, but to a person! And I won’t be lying if I say that this cat has the most ideal character! The appearance of the “Norwegians” is mesmerizing - a magnificent shiny fur coat, a long, strong muscular body, majestic posture, wild grace, a proud posture of a triangular head with a straight “Roman” profile and large ears with tassels. And also a luxurious tail, strong lynx paws and, of course, charming, slanted eyes with a penetrating, intelligent look. And what’s amazing is that with such wild beauty, these creatures have an incredibly melodic voice! And if we add here strong native health, not spoiled by any breed mutations, then we will get simply an excellent cat that one can only dream of!
At the moment, the Norwegian Forest cat is one of the most popular breeds in the world and so far this popularity is only growing, and there are more and more owners and breeders of this wonderful breed. And not only traditionally in the European North (in Norway, these cats are considered the country’s national treasure), but also in central and southern Europe, as well as in the USA and Canada! After all, this cat is so magnificent that once you see it, it’s impossible to forget it!
Russia is still somewhat behind Western fashion, but here the breed is gaining more and more popularity and more and more Norwegians are participating in exhibitions, winning BESTs, and even taking part in specialty shows! Although, of course, the number of nurseries of Norwegian forest cats can still be counted on one hand.
A few words about the nursery. Our single-breed nursery of Norwegian Forest Cats (NFO) was founded in 2021 and registered in two felinological systems - the oldest and prestigious FIFe (certificate) and the most popular and widespread in Russia WCF (registration certificate No. 26857-2020 (V)). Our club in the FIFe system is Cat-Club, St. Petersburg, in the WCF system - Korgorushi Cat Lovers Club, Moscow.
The Norwegian Forest Cat Cattery is located in Moscow , which of course is a big plus, because... In this case there will be no difficulties with delivery. And although our nursery is still quite young, our producers are graduates of the two most famous Moscow nurseries of “Norwegians”. Therefore, we are direct successors of their glorious traditions and their wonderful breeding lines. All our cats are full-fledged and beloved members of our family who live with us. They eat the best natural food and holistic food, receive all the necessary elite nutritional supplements, are vaccinated annually and are observed by a veterinarian. And of course we regularly and successfully attend exhibitions!
The breeder of the Freya's lynx nursery , I, Christina Galitskaya, am a felinologist (diploma WCF-F-063) with almost fifteen years of experience, and the biggest fan of cats (and dogs too) in the world! Since my birth, there have always been cats and dogs in our house, and therefore I can’t even imagine how to live without having a favorite animal in the house that is attached to you with all my heart, and you are attached to it with all my heart! But in addition to love, a breeder requires knowledge, and therefore I always attend various felinological courses and seminars with great interest. And I see the priority for the cattery as creating an ideal breed type in accordance with modern standards of the Norwegian Forest cat, mainly in my favorite silver and blue colors. And the popularization of this truly magical breed in our country!
