“Cats see no reason to obey another creature, even a two-legged one.”
(Sarah Thompson)
“Cats, by their very existence, refute the assertion that everything in the world was created for humans.” (Paul Gray)
“A man is only as cultured as he can understand a cat.” (Bernard Show)
Cats are very mysterious, independent and freedom-loving animals.
They are by nature self-sufficient loners, so cats do not show their love and affection as openly and obviously as dogs demonstrate their submission to the leader of the pack (their beloved owner).
Many even consider them to be indifferent egoists, incapable of being the same spiritual companion to a person as dogs.
And yet, cats truly and deeply love their owners, they seek their understanding and attention. The important thing is not to overlook these precious signs of affection from your pet and always try to respond to them.
It is important to remember that cats do not tolerate people ignoring their affection.
Very often, people simply do not notice manifestations of cat love, because they do not know how to carefully observe and understand the cat’s behavior.
In addition, our heads are always busy with our daily problems and work.
So, in what ways do cats let their unreasonable owners know that they love them?
1. The cat persistently tries to touch you with its head (butts) The cat not only marks you as “its person” in order to make other animals understand that the “territory is occupied”, it shows its sincere affection and trust.
2. The cat “stomps” on you, moving its paws and extending its claws
As children, kittens massage their mother's belly in this way to promote milk production. Since childhood, they associate massaging movements with something pleasant.
Sometimes it can be difficult to withstand such a claw massager if you have a huge, loving cat
