This film does not fit into my priorities at all, and I decided to watch it solely because of the cats, which I love and respect immensely. To say that the picture about the transmigration of the soul disappointed me is to say nothing.
The only scene that was really funny was when the cat was trying hard to get to the bottle of booze. Everything else reeks of banality a mile away. Nevertheless, in order not to betray myself, I will try to extract something worthwhile from this not very funny comedy.

Cats vs. Dogs (2001)
Just a hilarious movie about cats versus dogs! It all starts out harmlessly enough: one funny professor wants to invent a vaccine against allergy to dog fur. The cats, led by their evil cat dictator Mr. Tinkles, don't like it. They want to stop the development of a vaccine. Dogs, on the contrary, want to thwart the plans of the cat dictator. They send their scout puppy named Lou to the professor's house. Without proper preparation, he finds himself face to face with the impending threat...
There are still benefits!
Alas, even after his experience, judging by his last words, Tom has changed little; in any case, he no longer loves cats. Who really benefited from this transformation was his eldest son.
In order to save his father’s business, he decided to do something crazy. And also to the assistant, who received a well-deserved and extremely funny punishment. By the way, this reminded me of the last scene of the film “I Can Do Anything ,” when the dog Denis had a nice conversation with the dog into which he had turned his former boyfriend a little earlier.

The Truth About Cats and Dogs (1996)
This is a very good romantic comedy. The main character's name is Abby, she is a veterinarian. She also appears on the radio with her show called “The Truth About Cats and Dogs.” The girl can hardly be called lucky because... her personal life is constantly not working out. All suitors sooner or later preferred their neighbor Noelle to her. And then one day she meets Brian live. He can't resist her beautiful voice and asks her out on a date. Abby wants to test him and asks her neighbor to go on a date instead of her.
Family idyll and business
So, the plot. The main character, Mr. Tom Brand, is a kind of super extreme and extremely successful businessman. He builds a huge structure and, for the sake of publicity, easily jumps with a parachute in order to make a lasting impression on invited reporters.
The hero has an over-aged son who followed in his father's footsteps. He is well versed in business, however, he lacks quite a bit: the ability to take risks, some madness.
The son from his first marriage and his mother, who is also the main character’s first wife, and her daughter also appear in the film. She is friends not only with her ex-husband, but also with his current wife.
Mr. Brand also has a daughter, 10-12 years old (I have absolutely no idea about the ages of children, so I could be wrong). Dad and husband love their girls madly, but may devote too little time to them. Actually, the relationship between the father and his children is the main storyline of the film.

That Wild Cat (1997)
We present to your attention an incendiary action-comedy. Starring: Petty, a bored high school student resentful of the town she lives in, her “Terrible” cat DC, and an FBI agent. Ask - what connects this interesting trinity? Investigation into the maid's kidnapping, of course! The town in which the action takes place cannot be called friendly. And so one gang kidnaps a maid instead of the oligarch’s wife. The “terrible” cat is a witness to this. The audience, like Petty, cannot remain indifferent to the adventure into which her favorite dragged her...
Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas (2014)
An excellent family film about a cat named Gumpy and a little girl Crystal. One Christmas, Crystal made a wish - to have a furry friend. Later she goes to a pet store where an “angry” cat has been living for a long time. Nobody wanted to take him into the family, and he became very gloomy. Unexpectedly for the girl, she begins to understand what Gumpy is saying. She brings it home. Afterwards we will have a fascinating story with chases and shooting. And it's all terribly funny! The “grumpy” cat will not leave anyone indifferent.
Love every day!
The most valuable thought in the picture, in my opinion, is love, which is not enough to experience somewhere in the depths of the heart. Alas, we don’t have nine lives, so the current one must be used to the fullest. It’s not enough to just talk about love, this feeling needs to be confirmed by your actions every day.
No, it is not at all necessary to jump from a parachute, fall into a coma, commit self-sacrifice or perform other feats. It’s enough just to be with your family more often, come home on time, don’t forget about important dates and see your loved ones not occasionally, but every day.
That's all. Although, being a cat in your own family is sometimes even useful. You can learn a lot of new things. Then I will complete my review, and I wish you to watch the comedy “Nine Lives” if only to have a little fun watching a funny cat named Mr. Fuzzy Pants. And for example, that same episode with drinking.
Samurai and the Cat (2014)
A fascinating historical comedy. Kyutaro is the main character, a professional in his field. He is excellent with a sword. But he cannot live among people and therefore drags out a miserable existence. And then fate brings him together with Sakichi, who hires him for one strange thing... He wants Kyutaro to kill his boss’s cat. The boss loved this cat so much that he began to behave like a child. The swordsman is not willing to take on the task. But he doesn't have much choice. What will he do when he meets eye to eye with a white fluffy cat?
Cats Were Missed (2013)
A very interesting romantic comedy directed by Mustafa Sevki Dogan. The story of the film tells us about three completely different couples in love. Using their example, we are shown different ways to speed up the long-awaited moment, which is a wedding. And here, of course, there were cats. The acting is decent. Everything on the screen is so exciting that you won’t notice how time flies. The roles are played by: Burcu Biricik, Algi Eke and many other talented actors. An excellent choice for viewing with the whole family.
The Adventures of Milo and Otis (1986, Japan)

A movie with a filming history worthy of sitting next to the case of the bat's head being bitten off at an Ozzy Ozbourne concert. The singer beheaded the animal by mistake, but more than twenty kittens died on the set of “Milo and Otis” for the sake of beautiful shots and fees, and one of the kids had his leg deliberately broken so that the hero’s gait on the screen would be believable. The official investigation didn't confirm any of this, but in this movie, a little kitten meets a fox, owls, a raccoon, a bear and seagulls, and all this without special effects - there was plenty of reason for animal rights activists to wince.
But if you believe in the honesty and humanity of the filmmakers, then this family-friendly, kind film can be watched with children and left delighted. The plot is dedicated to the big adventure of the kitten Milo through the forest and farms, and how the pug puppy Otis tries to save his purring friend from danger.

A Street Cat Named Bob (2016)
If it were possible to describe the film in one word, then the perfect word for this film would be inspiring. Here we dive into the life story of one street musician. Who, due to his youth, naivety and stupidity, became addicted to drugs. All his relatives abandoned him. He has been struggling with addiction for several months now, but to no avail. One day he meets a street cat who got into his apartment. And the red cat Bob becomes a true friend and ally to the musician. The musician begins to take care of him and suddenly finds the strength to overcome his weaknesses...

Loneliness, like an invisible moth, eats holes in human souls, and through such wounds and cracks a person becomes infected with depressive thoughts, apathy, hatred, aggression, snobbery, greed and other pathogenic bacteria. The best thing about being alone is the ability to get rid of it, and the girl Sayoko knows how - rent a cat. Every day, Sayoko loads her cart with boxes of purring therapists and sets out to do good for a thousand yen.
A leisurely, beautiful movie, in which there are not only a dozen adorable cats of various colors and ages, but also a detailed excursion into Japanese life. Lamp and with meaning.
Like a cat and a dog (2017)
Have you ever heard of real estate mistakes? A whole film was made about one of them. And the essence is very simple. There lived a man and a woman. She loved dogs. And he loved cats. And thanks to a ridiculous mistake by a realtor, they are forced to live in the same house. Nightmare! This is putting it mildly. How can people so different find a common language? Although this sometimes happens with cats and dogs. Just a charming comedy and melodrama rolled into one. You won't regret a single minute spent in front of the screen.

Movie Catwoman
A black young lady named Patience (in the language of the characters in Boomer - Terpila) eked out a completely worthless existence: instead of preparing a solo exhibition at MoMA, she drew sketches for advertising skin moisturizers, instead of hanging out with gangsta rappers, she was friends with an overweight and unpleasantly preoccupied office colleague. Having all the ingredients for exciting sex with baseball stars, she fell into a stupor if a policeman with wet eyes invited her for a cup of coffee at a diner around the corner. When neighbors turned up the music at full volume at night, Patience preferred earplugs to scandal. She clearly should have died.
What the girl was not slow to do: she accidentally overheard the wrong thing (the corporation in which she worked intended to take an inexplicably suicidal step and throw a cream on the market that made women look like Salman Raduev) and was soon found dead in a vacant lot. Cats found her, and one of them, named Midnight, breathed life into the artist of a completely new kind.
One can only guess what the heroine would turn into if she were revived by some fat, fluffy cat. But Midnight was an elegant animal of the Egyptian breed, and Catwoman turned out to be appropriate. From now on, she has her hair cut short, her eyes lined decisively, her lips generously smeared with red, and instead of stupid dresses, she puts on a tight, fairly low-cut leather suit, which, coupled with a whip, colors her too much even for the wildest imagination of a shy fetishist. In addition, Patience sleeps under the ceiling, swallows dozens of sushi, is rude to his superiors, hisses at dogs and moves along vertical surfaces with amazing ease.
“Catwoman” is obviously the biggest failure of 2004 (however, Stone’s “Alexander” still has some chances left): Western critics unanimously ostracized the film (accusing it, in particular, of insufficient psychological depth), and the viewer is still endlessly is far from bringing in the $85 million required for the Frenchman Pitof ("Vidocq") to ever be assigned to even a cosmetics advertisement in Hollywood. Users of the site imdb.com voted “Cat” into the 100 worst films of all time.
Come on, why get so excited? Comparing "Catwoman" to Bergman's best work would perhaps be an exaggeration, but generally speaking, this film is no worse than any "Van Helsing" or "Daredevil".
The plot is really simple, Halle Berry looks a little silly as a mistress from an S&M salon, and her well-publicized fight with Sharon Stone (who selflessly played a victim of age and makeup) excited the imagination so much that it could not help but deceive expectations.
On the other hand, there is at least one successful scene from a pornographic point of view: when Patience, cat-like, squeezes through the bars of the prison. And one more thing: this is perhaps the first comic book blockbuster where the main character is a woman (we do not take into account the anime, Tank Girl, as well as the inexpensive and, as a rule, not quite decent adventures of Supergirl). And as if in compensation for many years of discrimination, “Catwoman” contains an original twist: along the way, it turns out that Patience is not a one-time smile of nature, like Batman, Hulk or Daredevil, but a link in a centuries-old chain of rebirths. After chatting with a knowledgeable cat lover and doing a little digging on the Internet, the heroine discovers an entire female-cat subculture - it turns out that at all times, starting with Ancient Egypt, femmes with elongated muzzles continually colored the black-and-white reality with their unfeminine (and certainly not cat-like intelligence, lively disposition and pleasant appearance.
Isn't this a reason for joy and perhaps pride? Sappho and Sklodowska-Curie, Lucrezia Borgia and Anna Akhmatova, Virginia Woolf and Sofia Perovskaya, Uma Thurman and Indira Gandhi - the cat hypothesis can become a qualitatively new leap in the process of understanding women as a species. The composition “When I become a cat, la-la-la-la” will sound like the first time. And humanity will take a step towards harmony - because for every man-bat there will finally be an adequate and fair answer.
